JOIN ST LUKE'S MUSIC SOCIETY
The Music Society organises and promotes the St Luke’s
concert series. Friends not only support an important part of the cultural life of Battersea and South West London, but also:
- Receive advance notice of all programmes and enjoy discounted priority booking for all concerts.
As the Society engages increasingly well known artists
this benefit becomes more important. Friends have the
opportunity when renewing their membership of ordering
discounted tickets.
- From time to time enjoy exclusive Friends-only events.
During 2009/10 Friends’ events included a reception in
the beautiful gardens of 21 Clapham Common West Side,
courtesy of Annabel and Stephen Allott, followed by an
intimate private concert in St Luke’s, and a group visit to
a performance of St Matthew Passion at the Barbican.
- Have the opportunity to meet the
performers after concerts.
Many Friends will remember the receptions for Dame
Emma Kirkby and Nicola Benedetti at which Friends had
the opportunity to meet them after their concerts. Such
opportunities will be arranged during the coming season.
- Join other Friends at arts events and benefit from group rate ticket discounts.
Becoming a Friend to 31 August 2011 costs just £30 for individuals or £45 for families. If gift-aided it is worth another 28% to the Society.
