LockDown Divertimenti : An SLMS Summer Series to the end of July

Programme includes:

Two composers - Colin Matthews, renowned around the world, and Louise Drewett, still learning her trade - discuss the seemingly miraculous process of composition.
Both have been commissioned by the Festival Chorus, though we still await the chance to hear Louise Drewett's Four Shakespeare Songs.

Colin Matthews and Louise Drewett

Tickets: £20.00, £10.00, £5.00

LockDown Divertimenti is a live streamed series for Friends of St Luke’s Music Society during these difficult times.  The series will feature international musicians such as Tasmin Little, who opened the series, but will focus principally on young musicians who have lost so much.  The Music Society will guarantee young artists appearing a fee from its reserves.

The series is free for Friends.  However if you would like to donate then you can buy a virtual ‘ticket’ (we do not have a donations facility) as you would for a normal concert.  Any amounts you donate will either be paid to the artists or, if there is a surplus, to a musical charity.  You can contribute in combinations of £5, £10 and £20, so £35 would for example be one £5, one £10 and one £20 ‘ticket’.
